Mother’s Day

The challenges of a quarantined life these days are many. This season, though, has allowed Susanne’s culinary skills to shine. She’s cooked more than she has in her life, and her role as stay-at-home mom and chef and homeschool teacher have been arduous. We appreciate her!

With that said, probably the most challenging aspect of this “normal” has been not being able to gather with family. Today was the first time that I can remember that we haven’t gone to a restaurant or someone’s house to celebrate Mother’s Day. It doesn’t take away, though, from the fact that we love and appreciate abuelita.

Europe

Elias took his first trip out of the country this past week. I’m not sure he’ll remember much about it in 10 years, but he had fun, enjoyed the hotels, and overall, spoke very positively about it.  Here he is at the Eiffel Tower with sisters.   Sleeping through the Louvre… Loving Disneyland Paris… Ate dinner with uncle William and Remi… Toured the Coliseum Took a train to Florence… And lots more!

Solvang

Elias enjoyed a week in Solvang for food and fun. It was a lot of the food part that he enjoyed the most.

Hair
