Hungry

This guy eats so often that his shirt also becomes a tasty treat.

Bubbles

What is it about bubbles that make you laugh and smile?

Hiding

This guy will find the barstools, squeeze himself in between or behind them, and sit down to relax. Funny guy!

Social Distancing

That word has become part of our vernacular. Today we visited abuelitos and this is what Elias did as abuelitos sat 6 feet apart. This is not normal, but it’s become the “new normal.”

Exercise

Elias knows what’s inside. It looks like exercise, but it’s him trying to pull the freezer open.

Stinker

This guy can be a stinker. He’ll pull himself back in unsafe ways.

Food

The way to Elias’ heart is through food. When eating frozen blueberries, he will sit at your feet like a little puppy, waiting to be fed.

Faces

Mad.  Happy.

Mother’s Day

The challenges of a quarantined life these days are many. This season, though, has allowed Susanne’s culinary skills to shine. She’s cooked more than she has in her life, and her role as stay-at-home mom and chef and homeschool teacher have been arduous. We appreciate her!   With that said, probably the most challenging aspect of this “normal” has been not being able to gather with family. Today was the first time that I can remember that we haven’t gone to a restaurant or someone’s house to celebrate Mother’s Day. It doesn’t take away, though, from the fact that we love and appreciate abuelita.

Bath Hair

Bath time and a Mohawk.

Three

These three bring a smile to my face.

Shots

Elias has his 12-month check-up today. He did not like getting his shots or blood drawn at all. Poor guy.  This big man is in the 96th percentile for weight, 86th percentile for height, and 98th percentile for head. Huge!
