Banana

Elias knows that bananas are sweet, so obviously he likes his “nana.”

Pancakes

Isabella made pancakes yesterday. For lunch.  Given Elias’s love for food, you’d think he would have loved chocolate chip pancakes!  However, he was less than thrilled to try them.

Father’s Day

Being a dad to a son is different than it’s been with the two girls. I’m harder on Elias, wanting him to be tough and to be strong. It’s different, yet I love him the same as the girls.  We got to see abuelito today, which was nice. This pandemic has changed things, but being together is good. Happy Father’s Day to a kind, hard working, and always loving abuelito!

Hat

Elias won’t wear a hat, but he’ll find mine and try it on to be silly.

Books

I’m grateful that this guy seems to enjoy reading. He’ll even pick up a book on his own, turn it the correct way, and start flipping through the pages.

Different

It always amazes me how different these three are. They not only look different, but they have very unique personalities. One thing is the same, though - I love them all so very much.

Hungry

As further evidence that Elias loves to eat, today he went over to Lilyana’s plate and took her sandwich. After he had already eaten his meal. This was the end result.

Eating

I’m pretty sure quarantine has contributed to Elias’ size and weight. It seems like all he does is eat and sleep.

Dodgers

With no baseball this year, this will have to be the closest we get to cheering on the Dodgers.

Poncho

This was not cool. It was not done intentionally, but putting a mermaid towel on Elias is not preferred around here. He does look like he’s wearing a poncho, though.

Basketball

Here’s to hoping Elias will one day love watching and playing basketball!
