Fat

Let’s just admit it. Elias is a big boy. This guy, even when he sits eating breakfast, looks like he’s gaining weight by the second. Maybe it’s the bib in these pictures, but it seems like he has no neck. And then when you look at his wrists, it appears he’s wearing a string around them when in actuality it’s the folds in his skin. Regardless, he’s a cute boy.

Joy

We have a lot to learn from children. Elias is oblivious for all that’s happening in the world, but there’s a spirit of joy in him that is often evident.

More Eating

With so much self isolation, it was only a matter of time before the gummies were introduced to Elias. Of course, he enjoys them.

More Eating

This guy loves to eat almost anything. Here he is enjoying two fistfuls of banana.

Jogs

Elias has joined me on two jogs this week. There’s not much else to do so we might as well.

Bread

I think this guy likes bread. When he was eating his pasta tonight, he saw me take out the Hawaiian bread, made some grunting sounds, and then refused to eat his pasta. Troublemaker.

Car

This is what you when quarantine is the new normal - get a box and “drive” Elias around.

Day 3

This is now day 3 of school closures and staying home. Coincidentally or not, this period also seems to have coincided with a much more clingy Elias. He constantly wants to be held and seems much more fussy.

Uncertainty

What we have seen this past week had never been seen in our lifetime. I hope Elias will one day look back in history books to read about it all. In the meantime, though, we wait and we hope.

Grass

Babies don’t initially like grass. Elias is no different. It’s somewhat humorous.

Lakers

Elias represented for the Lakers today as they took on the Clippers.  The Lakers won, which was a little sad for cousin Ethan.

Big Sister

Aside from the fair complexion they share, I think these two are going to have very different personalities.
